Patsy Palmer was born on 24 December 1823 Garrard County, Kentucky.1 She was the daughter of Burton Palmer and Rebecca Bruce.1 Patsy and Payton Graves, son of William Graves and Lucy Berger, were married 26 May 1840 Lincoln County, Missouri, She is listed as Parmer on marriage return.

Patsy Palmer died 15 June 1894, Johnson County, Texas at age 70 years, 5 months and 22 days, The picture of the marker clearly has this date.
This is also the date in the family Bible.4 She died 26 November 1884, Johnson County, Texas at age 60 years, 11 months and 2 days and was buried Caddo Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas.4
She has been called Martha.5
