     Rebecca Bruce was born on 6 October 1792 Garrard County, Kentucky, then Madison County.1 She was the daughter of John Bruce and Elizabeth Clay.1 Rebecca and Burton Palmer, son of Nixon Palmer and Mary Beasley, were married 10 February 1814 Garrard County, Kentucky.2
A marriage bond was executed for Rebecca and Burton Palmer dated on 9 February 1814 Garrard County, Kentucky. The bond was signed by Burton Palmore to Rebecca Bruce, Bond, John Bruce, Return, Levi Baldock.3 Rebecca Bruce died 2 March 1846, Lincoln County, Missouri at age 53 years, 4 months and 24 days1 and was buried Palmer Cemetery, Eversmeyer farm near Silex MO TWN 50 N R1W survey 1745 sect 17., Lincoln County, Missouri.4
