"State of Missouri, County of Boone:
I do hereby certify that on the 6th day of May in the year of our Lord 1832 that I the undersigned Justice [....] for the County af I did join together in the bonds of matrimony James Jefferson and Polly [?] Palmer both of the County aforesaid and state of Missouri given under my hand this 19th day of July 1832."
