TURLOCK - Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Norton Mortuary for Mrs. Bessie Mohr Simpson, long-time Turlock City Library Board member who died in a local hospital last night after a short illness.

A native of Newman, Mrs. Simpson attended San Jose High School and was a graduate of San Jose Teachers College (now San Jose State). She taught school in Ceres and Newman until 1913 when she moved to Turlock.

She leaves her widower Harvey J. Simpson of Turlock; nine stepchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elberta F. Hansen of Gustine, three nieces and one nephew.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be to the memorial fund of the first United Presbyterian Church.
