LeVon Perry Dunford

     LeVon Perry Dunford was born on 4 August 1912 Jacksonville, Jackson County, Oregon. He was the son of Oscar William Dunford and Nellie Pearl Palmer. LeVon and Doris Catherine Clark were married 13 March 1938 Jacksonville, Oregon. LeVon died 7 April 1974 , in Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona at age 61.¹ The cause of death was coronary Thrombosis, other significant conditions including emphysema.¹ The cause of death was coronary Thrombosis, other significant conditions including emphysema. and was cremated. His ashes were scattered over the Sitgreaves National Forest by his good friends. He has a cenotaph Jacksonville Cemetery, Jacksonville, Jackson County, Oregon.²
     LeVon was graduated from Medford High School, Medford, Jackson County, Oregon in 1931. LeVon was graduated in 1935 from Oregon State Agriculture College (now OSU) with a BS in Logging Engineering. LeVon and Doris had three children, Kristin, Bruce, and Patricia.

He was a Graduate Assistant at OSU.
