Charles Clay was born in 1637/38 Henrico County, Virginia. He was the son of John Claye and Elizabeth (--?--). Charles and Hannah Wilson, daughter of John Wilson, were married 1666/67 Henrico County, Virginia. Charles Clay died 1685/86, Henrico County, Virginia at age 48 years.2
