Rachel and Henry Clay, son of Henry Clay and Lucy Green, were married 9 April 1753 Cumberland County, Virginia, Bond by John Netherland and Richard Povall.1,2 Rachel Povall died 27 June 1820, Bourbon County, Kentucky, according to her tombstone and was buried Clay Family Cemetery, near Paris, Bourbon County, Kentucky. off the Escondida Road, east of the railroad tracks.3
