     Maurine Player was born in June 1923 Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of David Player and Lamoyne (--?--). Maurine and Burton Allen Fentem, son of Benjamin Franklin Fentem and Gladys A Wright, were married. Maurine Player died 14 October 2009, in Turlock, California at age 86 years and 4 months.

Maurine Fentem, 86, of Turlock passed away on Wednesday, October 14 at home with her family at her side. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT area to David and Lamoyne Player in 1923. In 1944, Maurine married Burton Fentem and they moved to Stevinson, CA in 1946. Maurine settled in Turlock in 2001. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Turlock Third Ward. She was also a member of the Stevinson American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Most of all, her family was her life.
Maurine is survived by her husband Burton Fentem; daughter Gladie Childres and son-in-law Mike Childres; grandchildren Bryan Childres and Amanda Sutton; and four great grandchildren; siblings Lamoyne Lundahl and Ross d. Player.
Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Inurnment will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Emanuel, P.O. Box 819005, Turlock, CA 95381.
     Maurine and Burton had one child, Gladice Louise.
