     Mildred Berger was born on 30 December 1808 Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Jacob Berger and Catherine Nowlin. Mildred and Washington Graves, son of Peyton Graves and Charlotte Pinckard, were married 14 January 1833 Pittsylvania County, Virginia, Washington3 Graves married in Pittsylvania Jan. 14, 1833, Mildred, dau. of Jacob Berger, Jr. and sister of Lucy who had married Wm.3 Graves (Pitts. W. B. 1, p. 229) and later moved to Mo. His children were: Daniel4 b. 1833, Martha Ann4 b. 1835, Rev. David Wm.4 b. 1837, Lucy Catherine4 b. 1839, Eliz. Jane4 b. 1843, Dr. Jas. Francis4 b. 1849.1,2 Mildred Berger died 23 June 1849, Montgomery County, Missouri at age 40 years, 5 months and 24 days.3
