     Parmelia Jordan was born on 19 October 1824 Breckinridge County, Kentucky.1 Parmelia and Allen Simmons, son of Joseph Simmons and Charity Scott, were married 14 October 1841.1 Parmelia Jordan died 6 March 1883, Meade County, Kentucky at age 58 years, 4 months and 15 days.1
