     William Humphreys died between 19 January 1686 and 1 August 1687, Henrico, Virginia. His will was written 19 Jan 1685/6 and in probate by 1 Jun 1687.2
     He owned property...Two hundred acres of Land in Charles City County lying upon the Easterly side of Turkey Island Creeke Opposite to the great or long meadow and boundeth North East and by North into the Woods One Hundred poles, and northwest and by West one hundred and sixty chains each containing two poles, and runeth south West by south to the main run, and thence as the Creek windeth to the plaice where ti began. The said Land being [oue] by Transportation of four persons [not named]... on 18 March 1652.3 He left a will on 19 January 1685/86

To 3 grandaughters (daughters of the said Margaret) Jane Eyre, Margaret Eyre and Hannah Eyre, 10 pence each and all my movable goods to be divided, including what shall come to me from Robert Povall
Daughter Margaret, now wife of Maurice Floyd, to be exec.
I forgot to include my grandson William Eyre; he is to have equal share of movables and £ 10
