Mrs Dicie G Staniford, 73, of 153 Arroyo court, San Mateo, succumbed to an apparent heart attack at her home yesterday evening. A native of San Luis Obispo, she had been a resident of San Mateo 12 years.
The widow of W. B. Staniford, an executive with the Railway Express company, she is survived by three daughters, M. M. Riddle of San Mateo. Mrs. J. H. Thompson of Oakland and Mrs. J. E. A. Naess of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. H. T. Tallent of San Francisco, Mrs. Fred Brundage of San Jose, and Mrs. Harold Purcell of San Francisco; three grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Services will be held at Crosby-N. Gray chapel in Burlingame tomorrow at 11 a.m. Removal will be made to Tacoma, Wash. for Interment there.2
She witnessed the marriage of Frederick D. Brundage and Lula H Graves on 17 December 1913 Tacoma, Washington. W B and Dicie Staniford were living in Tacoma at this time and signed as witnesses.
