A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in Eagle Creek Presbyterian Church for H. Clifton Glover Jr. of Eagle Creek, who died Aug. 21 at age 87.
H. Clifton Glover Jr. was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Portland. He served in the Army during World War II and graduated from Oregon State College. He was a mechanical engineer and president of Pacific Carbide & Alloys. He also owned Glover Century Blueberry Farm. In 1944, he married Miriam Cobb.
Survivors include his wife, daughter, Cindy B. Glover, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
