Harold Glover was born on 27 July 1898 Washington. He was the son of Orange Glover and Grace Nettie Ashby. Harold and Flora Eva Mathis were married say 1917 as Flora Eva Glover is listed as his nearest relative on his military board Registration Card, completed in 1918. Harold Glover and an unknown person were divorced before 1920; as "Herald" and Orange are living in Hood River, both divorced, in the 1920 census. They are in the household of "Wallus", Mattie, and daugther Lucile Glover.1 Harold and Alice (--?--) were married before 1930 Harold and Alice are living in Gaston, Washington County, Oregon in 1930. With them is "OD" (Orange) and a boarder. There are no children. Harold and Alice, age 32, had first married at age 18. We know that Harold married Flora Eva Mathis before 1917, when he would have been about eighteen. Perhaps Alice was likewise married and divorced and remarried to Harold. The marriage did not last much longer, as he is married to Fern by 1936.2 Harold and Pearl (--?--) were married. Harold and Fern Catherine Baker were married 11 April 1936 The marriage of Miss Fern Baker, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James A Baker, Gaston, and Harold Glover, son of O. D. Glover, Gaston, and Mrs. Grace Goff, Santa Monica, Cal., was quietly solelmized april 11 at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. O H Holmes officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by her father wore her mother's wedding dress with long veil of tulle and lace held by an old-fashioned [ ] of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white petunias and lilies of the valley.
Miss Alta Bennett, Monroe, the bride's only attendant, wore a dress of pale pink organdie and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses and pastel sweet peas.
Dr. Russell Baker, White Salmon, Wash, brother of the bride, was best man.
At the reception which followed, Mrs. F. L. Webster, Portland, poured and Mrs. Lucille Leep, Underwood, Wash., cut ices.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where she was affiliated with Delta Zeta.
After a motor trip to southern California and Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Glover will be at home in Forest Grove, May .
