Marmaton is about ten miles west of Fort Scott.1,2 Agnes and Constantine Bruce Palmer, son of John Henry Palmer and Catherine Nowlin Graves, were married 8 April 1891 C.B. Palmer, over 23 & Agnes Aitken, over 23, m 8 Apr 1891 at house of James Aitken by Thos. VanScoy, M.G. Aff: W. James Culver. Wit: Jessie VanScoy & Bell Aitken. #3997 pg 473.3 Agnes Aitken died 28 September 1945 at Oatfield & Chestnut Road, in Milwaukie, Clackamas County, Oregon at age 78 years, 2 months and 20 days, from primary anemia4 and was buried on 2 October 1945 Miller Cemetery, Marion County, Oregon.5
