Laura Jean Gustaves (Adams) 68 of Boise, Idaho died on Friday June 15th, 2018 after a long and well fought battle with breast cancer. Jeanne was born in Boise, Idaho to Jean and Clyde Adams on October 24th, 1949. She had two siblings George Adams and Curtis Adams and numerous cousins that she enjoyed growing up with on various farms within the family. She graduated from Capital High School in Boise in 1968 and com- pleted beautician school after- wards. In 1971, Jeanne married John Boxall and moved to Manitoba Canada, they had a daughter, Jodi, in 1972.

Jeanne and Jodi returned to Boise after Jeanne and Jay divorced. She then married Gary Gustaves, of Boise, Idaho, in 1974. Gary and Jeanne moved to Alaska and had Clay Gustaves in 1977 and then back to Idaho and had April Gustaves in 1981. Jeanne and Gary moved to the Seattle, Washington area in 1985 and remained there until a move back to Boise in 1995. Jeanne worked in the appraisal office that Gary worked in during their time in Seattle and later as an atten- dant at Jiffy Clean Laundromat in Boise.

She enjoyed the social aspects of these work places and made lifelong friends everywhere she went. She was truly a one of a kind lady, always positive and encouraging even though she had lived most of her adult life with chronic pain due to rheumatoid arthritis and then in her last years fighting late stage breast can- cer for over 7 years. She loved traveling, frequenting trips with her children to Mexico and the coast, she also enjoyed garden- ing and flowers. She will be very much missed but her family is comforted by the fact that she is no longer in pain and hopes she has found peace on a big sailboat pushed by warm breezes on tur- quoise waters. She is proceeded in death by her father Clyde, mother, Jean and stepmother Miriam, her hus- band Gary and her brother Larry in addition to many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her brother Bud Adams and sister in law Caron Adams; her chil- dren Jodi Dehlin, Clay Gustaves and April Gustaves; son in law Todd Dehlin and daughter in law Marissa Gustaves; her grandchil- dren Christian Ortiz, Briana Ortiz, Marjorie Dehlin, and Paxton Groff; sister in law Waltermire; nephews Aaron Adams, Jason Gustaves, Michael Gustaves and nieces Amy Gustaves, Shelley Davis, Katie Lutes; many addition- al cousins and family members; and her little dog Hollie whom she treasured so much. A private memorial is being held on Saturday June 30th, please reach out to com or one of the immediate fam- ily members if you would like to attend and need the information. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Mountain State Tumor Institute (MSTI at St Hospital Boise, ID) or Isla Animals (www.islaanimals.org). Laura Jean Gustaves 1949 2018.2
