Julia Bessie Tippett was born in 1892.1 She was the daughter of Julia Amny Jefferson.1 Julia and Paul Milliken Hewitt were married 1 June 1910 Jackson County, Missouri.2 Julia and George Seth Bailey were married circa 1916.3 Julia Bessie Tippett died before 10 October 1938, in Wichita, Kansas.1

Mrs Julia Berger Bailey, 46, San Francisco, mother of Mrs W R McKinney, 3309 East Pine, died Wednesday in a local hospital. Mrs Bailey came here three weeks ago to visit her daughter. She suffered a paralytic stroke Monday. She was a native of Montgomery City, Mo.
Besides Mrs McKinney she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs L E Eastman, New Rochelle, NY and Miss Peggy and Miss Harriet at the home in San Francisco, four sons, Harry Bailey, 3309 E Pine, John Hewitt, New Rochelle, and Alex and Paul Hewitt, San Francisco, and a brother, Alexander Tippett, East St Louis, Ill.
The body will be taken to Kansas City for funeral services and burial Saturday. The Gill mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.4
