- [S243] 1880 US Census Population Schedule, Washington, District of Columbia, US National Archives, Both Robert Harrison Parks and Charles Rice Parks indicated in this census that their father had been born in Maryland. Contrarily, GBW Parks in the 1880 Washington Territory Census lists NY as his father's birthplace. The Wash Census is riddled with errors, so it is more likely that Maryland is correct.
