Juanita Parks was born on 30 November 1913 near Elk City, Lincoln County, Oregon.1 She was the daughter of James Henry Parks and Clara Bea Willoughby. Juanita and Eugene Van Kleek were married. Juanita Parks died 3 July 2008, in Tigard, Oregon at age 94 years, 7 months and 3 days.2

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in the clubhouse of Summerfield Retirement Estates in Tigard for Juanita Van Kleek, who died July 3 at age 94.
Juanita Parks was born Nov. 30, 1913, in Elk City. A homemaker, she moved to Albany in about 1930, and later lived in Portland and Seattle before moving to Metzger in the early 1940s and to Beaverton in 2004. In 1942, she married Eugene Van Kleek; he died in 1994.
Survivors include her sons, James, Edward and David; sisters, Helen Kendig Ella Sherman, Inamae Rodgers and Clara Dennis; brothers, Orville "Bud" Parks and Richard Parks; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
