Clare Barrymoore Palmer, a coder for Oregon Steel Co. for 27 years, died of a heart attack Monday in his home at 2055 SW 85th Ave. He was 61.
Mr. Palmer, a Portland resident since 1942, was born Oct. 29, 1911, in Silverton. He was a member of United Steel Workers Union Local 3010 and Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 142.
Survivors include his wife, Grace; daughters, Donna Palmer, New Orleans, and Joan Trickle, Portland; sister, Jeanne Palmer, Portland; brother Marion Palmer, Salem.
Funeral will be at 2p.m. Wednesday in the Pegg, Paxson and Springer Chapel, Beaverton, with interment in Skyline Memorial Gardens.5 and was buried on 11 April 1973 Skyline Memorial Gardens, Portland, Oregon.
