     Lawrence Ivan Palmer was born on 3 January 1934 Benton City, Washington. He was the son of Lawrence Ivan Palmer and Corine Louise Hill.

Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - February 18, 2001 Deceased Name: Lawrence Ivan Palmer Jr. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Westwood Community Fellowship in Milwaukie for Lawrence Ivan Palmer Jr., who died Feb. 10 at age 67.
Mr. Palmer was born Jan. 3, 1934, in Benton City, Wash., and grew up in Sunnyside, Wash. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After moving from Yakima to Oregon City in 1972, he was a salesman for the Sears store on Northeast Grand Avenue until the early 1980s and then a janitor for The Wheel Lounge in Oregon City until retiring in the early 1990s. In 1964, he married Sandra Jorgensen.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Curtis and Kevin; and daughters, Tuesdea and Shawna.
Interment is in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are by Cochran & Waud Sunset Chapel.
