     Lenora Glover was born on 23 August 1866 Oregon.1 She was the daughter of Charles Peyton Glover and Clarissa Rebecca Palmer. Lenora Glover died 23 June 1960, Marion County, Oregon at age 93 years and 10 months, unmarried.

"Descendant of Pioneer Family Dies -- Miss Lenora Glover, a member of one of the oldest pioneer families in this area, died Friday in a Salem Hospital at the age of 93.
Miss Glover's father and grandfather crossed the plains to Oregon in 1849 and the grandfather, Phillip Glover, settled a donation land claim in the Macleay area east of Salem. He was also owner of a goat pasture near Mt. Angel which is now the site of the Benedictine Mt. Angel Abbey and Minor Seminary.
Miss Glover, daugher of Charles P. and Clarissa Palmer Glover, was born Aug. 23, 1866, on her grandfather's claim at Maclaey.
First of 11 children, sthe attended Willamette University but left at the age of 19 to care for her brothers and sisters when her mother died. She and her father moved to a farm east of Albany in 1893 and to Portland in 1907. She returned to Salem in 1958 and resided at 370 Ewald Ave. SE until entering Marion Home last month.
She was a member of Central Christian Church in Linn County.
She leaves one brother, Ronald C. Glover, Salem attorney, and one sister, Mrs. Mabel C. Root, Portland.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Virgil T. Golden mortuary, Dr. S. Raynor Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Macleay Cemetery."
