     Alexander Trent was born on 3 March 1728/29. Alexander and Frances Scott were married circa 27 September 1750 bond.2 Alexander and Elizabeth Woodson, daughter of Stephen Woodson and Elizabeth Branch, were married 1 January 1753 The Valentine Papers, Vol 1-4, 1864-1908 Woodson Family Marriage Bonds Alexander Trent to Elizabeth Woodson ; John Woodson , security. Dat. Jan. 1, 1753 ; letter of consent from Charles Bates , guardian to sd. Elizabeth , daughter of Stephen Woodson , decd.3 Alexander Trent and Ann Major Tinsley had circa 1778. Alexander Trent died 27 February 1793 , Powhatan County, Virginia at age 63, his will dated 15 Feb 1793 and recorded 21 Mar 1793.2
      Member of Houses of Burgesses for Cumberland Co. during Sessions Nov. 1766-March 1767; March 1767-May, 1767; March 1768-May 1769; Nov. 1769-May 1770.
