Alexander Trent was born on 18 November 1786. perhaps at Barter Hill, according to Donald Trent.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Trent and Ann Anderson. Alexander and Elizabeth Meade Randolph were married 19 October 1837 Chestnut Grove, Henrico County, Virginia, The Valentine Papers, Vol 1-4, 1864-1908 Randolph Family Marriage Bonds Marriage of Alexander Trent to Elizabeth Meade Randolph . Dated 18 Octr. 1837 . Wm. A. Gay , surety. Loftin N. Ellett , witness.

The Valentine Papers, Vol 1-4, 1864-1908 Randolph Family Marriage Bonds I do hereby authorize the Clerk of Henrico County to grant a License (or licenn) to Mr. Alexander Trent to Marry my Daughter Elizabeth Meade . Isham Randolph . 13th Ocr. 1837 .1,3 Alexander Trent died 5 March 1873 at age 86.
This needs checking out. Who was Mary Wilson? When were they married? The idea of a first wife is sound, given his age (50) at the marriage to Eliz Meade Randolph.
What sources are there?
