     Elmer Vernon Parks was born on 13 August 1891 Lewiston, Idaho.1,2 He was the son of George Benton Parks and Elizabeth Rebecca Whiteley.1 Elmer Vernon Parks died 14 November 1918 , in Toppenish, Yakima County, Washington at age 273 and was buried Plot: Div 1, Row 25, Lot 145, Grave 8, Normal Hill Cemetery, Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho.4
      On his WW I Draft Registration Card, Elmer reports that he is the support of his mother. He is a farmer for Waether Bros, on the Yakima Reservation.
He is tall and slender, grey eyes, light hair.2
