Lucinda Holloway was born in September 1857 California. Lucinda and Ernest Graves, son of William James Graves and Maria de la Soledad Pico, were married 27 March 1878.¹ Lucinda Holloway died 12 August 1913, in San Jose, California at age 55 years and 11 months, at the home of her daughter, "Mrs. Thos. Tallant."

Left daughters Mrs. W B Staniford, Mrs. Thos. Tallant, Miss Lulu Graves, and Miss Catherine Graves, all of San Jose.
