     William Harvey Hammond was born on 6 April 1908 Oregon City, Oregon. William and Constance Maxine Glover, daughter of Ralph Glover and Remoh V Holland, were married. William Harvey Hammond died 19 November 2001, in Olympia, Thurston County, Washington at age 93 years, 7 months and 13 days.

Another service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in City View Cemetery Mausoleum in Salem.
Mr. Hammond was born April 6, 1908, in Oregon City. He graduated from Oregon City High School and from the University of Oregon. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Portland and was the administrator of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission for five years, and later the first vice president of the National Alcoholic Beverage Association. He moved to Olympia and was program director for the Association of Washington Business until retiring in 1973. In 1935, he married C. Maxine Glover; she died in January.
Survivors include his daughter, Constance A.
