     Squire Gideon Hooker was christened on 7 June 1625 St Martins in the Fields Parish, Westminister, London, England; 7 Jun 1625 Gideon Hooker first borne & Joseph Hooker the sonnes of Thomas and Mary.2 He was the son of Thomas Hooker and Mary Pritchard. Squire Gideon Hooker married Mary Ghest 1650 St Bartholomew The Great, London, England, Gideon Hoker to Mary Guest.3 Squire Gideon Hooker died 16684 and was buried on 9 July 1668 St Paul Anglican Church, Middlesex, England.5
      Warrant to Lord Steward the Duke of Ormond to pay to Gideon Hooker, sworn supernumerary groom of the privy chamber, 20l. a year, till a vacancy happens for him to come into ordinary waiting. [Ent. Books 5, p. 61; and 48, p. 3.]
